Dress and personal grooming should reflect that SAINT AMBROSE SCHOOL is a Catholic Christian school and so should be neat, clean, and modest.

	Girls
Dress slacks	Navy or Khaki	Belts must be worn if slacks have belt loops.

Belt: A belt is required with all pants, skirts, and shorts with belt loops. Color required - Navy or Black

Suspenders: Suspenders may be used at the discretion of the parent(s). Color required - Navy, Khaki, Red, Hunter Green

Shoes: Tennis shoes or dress shoes only. Exception is that sandals with heel straps may be worn with shorts. Socks must always be worn.

Shorts: May be worn during the months of August/September and May/June and at any other time at the discretion of the principal.

Make up is not acceptable and jewelry should not be overdone. Clear lip-gloss or Chap Stick for dry lips is acceptable. Medicated acne creams are also acceptable.

NOTE: Khaki is sand or beige Khaki. This is a color with many variations.
